For the cupcakes:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Method:
For the cupcake:
  • Preheat your oven to 175°C and line a cupcake tray with paper liners.

  • Add in the granulated sugar and mix well.

  • Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Carefully pour in the boiling water and gently stir until the batter is smooth.
  • Using a ladle or a spoon, fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter.
  • Place the cupcake tray in the preheated oven and bake for about 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
  • Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prepare Frosting:
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter from Amul until creamy.
  • Sift in the powdered sugar and cocoa powder from Ajanta Food Products.
  • Add in the vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products and 2 tablespoons of milk from Amul.
  • Beat on low speed to combine, then increase the speed to medium and beat until the frosting is smooth and creamy.
  • If the frosting is too thick, add an additional tablespoon of milk from Amul and continue mixing.

Assembly:
  • Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, use a piping bag or a butter knife to frost them with the chocolate frosting.
