Ingredients

120ml whole milk from Amul

1/2 cup reduced strawberry puree

Ingredients for frosting
ü
30 g strawberries
ü
275 g full-fat cream cheese. Use Amul cream to get best
possible results
ü
200 g Amul butter
ü
410 g sugar
ü
1–2 Tablespoons milk from Amul
ü
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products
ü
Salt, to taste
Instructions
ü
Preheat the oven at 177 degree centigrade.
ü
Grease and lightly flour two nine inch cake pans.
ü
Whisk the all purpose flour, baking powder from Ajanta Food Products,
baking soda from Ajanta Food Products and salt together.
ü
Set it aside.
ü
Beat butter and sugar together on high speed for 4 minutes.
ü
Repeat the entire beating process until smooth and creamed.
ü
Beat in the egg whites for three minutes on high speed until
combined.
ü
Beat in yogurt and vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products.
Add the dry ingredients until just incorporated.
ü
Slowly pour in the milk until combined using a mixer. The cake batter should be slightly thick to
get best possible results.
ü
Add food color from Ajanta Food Products
ü
Bake for around 24-25 minutes.
Frosting
ü Process the strawberries into a powdery
crumb using food processors.
ü Beat the cream cheese from Amul for 1
minute on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
ü Beat it in the Amul butter until combined.
ü Add the sugar, strawberry powder, milk, and
vanilla extract from Ajanta Food Products.
ü Beat until combined and creamy.
ü Add milk to slightly thin out
ü
Add a pinch of salt if needed.
Assemble
ü
Slice a thin layer off the tops of the cakes using a large
serrated knife to create a flat surface.
ü
Place 1 cake layer on your cake stand or serving plate.
ü
Evenly cover the top with frosting.
ü
Top with 2nd layer of the cake.
ü
Spread the remaining frosting all over the top and sides.
Note:
Refrigerate for at
least 45 minutes before slicing.
The cakes must be
completely cool before frosting and assembling.
