Cream Cheese Frosting
- 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
- Beat in the egg and vanilla essence.
- Stir the vinegar into the buttermilk, then mix in the red food coloring.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three additions, alternating with the buttermilk mixture. Mix just until combined.
