Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour two 6-inch or one 8-inch round cake pan. Line with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a medium bowl, sift together flour, and baking powder.
  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 3–4 minutes).
